The isle of Zmiiny is part of the Kiliysko-Zmiiny uplift structure, within\u00a0 the borders of the uplift the Devonian deposits of\u00a0 the Paleozoic expose. The analysis of geological and geophysical data has shown that the biggest thick complex of Paleozoic deposits characteristic of the Fore-Dobrudzha deep are situated here. Geological and geoelectrical grounds for forming a large oil and gas field in the Devonian deposits are presented.
