Attention is concentrated on electrodynamics of geological medium \u2013 open dissipative seismic-electromagnetic generating system \u2013 and in particular on the methods of its description, on interaction between radiation and substance. Some mathematical aspects of generation of electromagnetic disturbances in radio-wave range are being analyzed. The article shows possible ways of application of electromagnetic component of lithosphere emission for the diagnostics of its structure and geodynamic processes in it.
