Actual anomalies are allocated, as a rule, with the help of linear transformations of a potential field. \u201cResidual of averaging\u201d transformation is suggested to apply in order to reveal deep structures anomalies.\u00a0 In this work the deep and frequent characteristics of the \u201cresidual of averaging\u201d are determined. These characteristics allow to estimate a connection between parameters of transformation and depth of geological structures.
