THE METHOD OF MULTICOMPONENT ANALOGUES FOR QUANTITATIVE INTERPRETATION OF WELL-LOGGING DATA: ADDITION OR ALTERNATIVE TO THE METHOD OF REGRESSIVE ANALYSIS

The article presents arguments for applying the method of multicomponent analogues for quantitative interpretation of well-logging data as a mean of upgrading a prognosis.  Advantages and disadvantages of regressive analysis and the method of multicomponent analogues for interpretation of well-logging data are analysed. Estimation of prospects is given in regard to the development of GRID-technologies.
