The paper covers a tectonic structure of the investigated region – the territory of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone and the Zone of Absolute Resettlement, as well as the main methods and actual Earth remote sensing materials which were used for the achievement of the assigned task. The solved tasks were formulated. Outlined in the article are definitions of the main geologic terms and conceptions, which were taken into account during the development of methodological work.
