PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN USING REMOTE CONTROL EQUIPMENT “SEARCH” ON OIL AND GAS AREAS LIMIT TEST AND SELECTING OF DRILLING WELLS LOCATIONS

Considered in the paper is an experience in using of the equipment of earth remote sensing and contouring of hydrocarbon deposits on the depth of 5000 m with a direct method. Using the equipment “Search” we developed methods of identification, delineation and preliminary express-evaluation of recoverable hydrocarbon reserves by measured geophysical characteristics of the reservoirs. Practical work confirms that it is possible to apply the developed method of distance measurement of the main geophysical characteristics of hydrocarbon reservoirs, which simplifies the choice of drilling wells locations. Calculations of approximate volume of the identified oil reservoirs were proposed according to the deep profiles and oil reservoir rock types, which were identificated by the remote method.
