MODELING OF DEFLECTED MODE AND ANOMALOUS GRAVITY FIELD AROUND EARTHQUAKE CENTRE

Lubkov M.V.

Stress-deformable state and anomalous gravity field in the earthquake centre with displacement along fault spread were modeled on the base of variation finite element method elaborated for elastic foliated shells. It was shown that in the case of monolithic rocks shift displacements, stresses and anomalous gravity field distributions around earthquake centre had a universal character. Those are not dependent on the thickness of elastic lithosphere, on the geological composition and linear dimensions of the earthquake centre. At the same time fracturing of geological rocks leads to the qualitative changes on the distribution patterns. Some irregular maximum and minimum zones can be seen. Their number grows as the rock fracturing increases.

Keywords: earthquake centre, mode of deformation, gravity field.
