NEW APPROACHES TO THE ANALYSIS OF GEOPHYSICAL DATA IN FORECASTING
OF COAL BED METHANE ACCUMULATION

Considered in the paper are mechanisms of coal bed methane (CBM) production sweet spots zones caused by the nature fracturing processes. Discussed in the article is possible interconnecting of geophysical methods and geomechanical modeling in effectiveness increase of geological and geophysical investigation in forecasting of enhance productivity areas – “Sweet Spots”.
