ABOUT APPROPRIATENESS OF THE EFFICIENT PERSPECTIVE EVALUATION OF NEW HYDROCARBON ACCUMULATION DETECTION IN UKRAINE BY THE REMOTE SENSING DATA

Levashov S.P., Yakymchuk N.A., Korchagin I.N.

Given in the article are the results of experimental application of remote sensing (RS) frequency-resonance processing and interpretation technology. These experiments were conducted in 2010–2011 to estimate presence of oil and gas on large territories and hard-to-reach areas. Formulated in the paper are methodological principles of the technology application for rapid assessment of oil and gas accumulation detection in various regions of Ukraine. It is shown that the efficient evaluation survey on the territory of Ukraine will provide new and independent information. That can be used both for the priority sites to be studied in detail and for the investors proceeding to conduct prospecting geological-geophysical studies as well as experimental exploration within the perspective areas. Involvement of individual investors and small investment companies to the problem of hydrocarbon accumulation prospect will contribute to significant dilatation of exploratory works.
