DETAILED STUDY OF TIME SEISMIC FIELDS

The study assesses a possibility of making seismic dataset more informative through detailed imaging of seismic fields. It shows how such images can be obtained by determining and using not only extreme values of seismic trace but other typical points on it. It provides an example of a comprehensive seismic facies analysis of some real data. The study shows that the potential of spectral and time analysis can be improved using detailed time sections.
