OPERATIVE ESTIMATION OF THE ORE-BEARING PROSPECTS OF THE LICENSE AREAS AND THE AREAS OF OPERATING MINES AND ORE DEPOSITS

Levashov S.P., Yakymchuk N.A., Korchagin I.N., Bozhezha D.N.

Analyzed in the article are the results of a technology experimental approbation of the satellite data processing and interpretation for the “direct” prospecting of ore minerals and water-bearing reservoirs. They testify to the fact that the technology allows to find and map operatively the anomalous zones of “zone of ore mineralization” type, which set conditions for the deposits of gold, uranium, zinc, iron, etc. The satellite data processing results of the ore deposits were analyzed in Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Russia, etc. It is shown that the ore objects of small size (100–300 m) can be discovered and mapped by the satellite data processing and interpreting of large-scale (1 : 10 000 and more large) and their resolution. Integration of the satellite data processing technology with the ground-based methods of forming of a short-pulsed electromagnetic field (FSPEF) and vertical electric-resonance sounding (VERS) (FSPEF–VERS express-technology) enables to increase the efficiency of these methods. Operative “satellite” technology of the ore prospects estimation can be used during reconnaissance examination of the remote regions and the regions difficult of access. This technology together with the traditional geophysical methods can considerably increase the efficiency and informativeness of the geological prospecting stage of the work – reduce the economic and temporal expenses, as well as financial risks.
