AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF DATA MEASURING ANALYSIS OF ANISOTROPY IN ROCKS

Discussed here are program-algorithm methods for numerical analysis by an automated system of ultrasound measuring parameters of anisotropy velocity in rocks for express-treatment, where the effect of heterogeneity of rocks composition and texture as well as their ordering are taken into account. The elastic constants Cmn of Volyno-Podolskiy region sandstones are determined, suggesting that elastic symmetry is rhombic and not transversal-isotropic. The obtained results are relevant for designing seismic models of a real geological environment.
