MODELING OF MODERN MOVEMENTS OF LOCAL SALT STRUCTURES OF DNIEPR-DONETSK DEPRESSION

Computer modeling of modern movements of local salt structures of Dniepr-Donetsk depression was carried out on the base of variational finite-element method. It was confirmed that modern movements of all these genetic local salt structures are characterized by their individual features. Those are mainly defined by subsalt block movements and regional tangential stresses, as well as salt tectonics features. It was determined that modern movements intensity of appropriate local salt structures depends on kinematics of these block movements and salt thickness.
